Note: If you decide to use the PC Card / Compact Flash Interface on the
ConnectCore XP 270, you can’t used the MultiMedia Card / SD / SDIO
controller since most of their pins are shared on the ConnectCore XP 270
module connector.
MultiMedia Card / SD / SDIO Controller + Memory Stick
The ConnectCore XP 270 MMC/SD/SDIO controller acts as a link between the software
that accesses the PXA270 processor and the MMC stack (a set of memory cards), and
supports MultiMedia Card, Secure Digital, Secure Digital I/O, and Memory Stick
communications protocols.
The MMC controller is based on the standards outlined in the MultiMediaCard System
Specification Version 3.2.
The SD controller supports one SD or SDIO card based on the standards outlined in the
SD Memory Card Specification Version 1.01 and SDIO Card Specification Version 1.0
(draft 4).
